FARR Benefit

Fenton Area Resource and Referral (FARR) is a non-profit organization run by volunteers that provides a thrift store, homeless center, and senior citizen center. FARR provides many families in the area with assistance throughout the year. Each year at Christmas the Fenton School of Dance sponsors a benefit performance and every penny goes to FARR.
The concept for this Christmas show sprung from being asked to perform at Christmas at Whiting' (in Flint) years ago. We decided instead to do our own Christmas performance locally and donate the proceeds locally, as well. It is a great way to get into the holiday spirit. According to Andrew G. Schmidt, director of FARR, the Fenton School of Dance benefit show is the FARR organization's salvation.

dancers, singers, and musicians... There is a special appreciation due the
Fenton High School and participating staff, including Mr. Paul Schmidt, as well
as the many parents, local businesses and friends who make this show possible
and donate their time and talents for F.A.R.R."
