2009-2010 Calendar

The studio will be closed for "bad weather" when the Fenton Schools are closed.  If you are unsure whether classes are being held, call the studio.

NOTE:  * DATES ARE TENTATIVE AND AWAITING FINAL APPROVAL

September 14 Classes Begin.
October 1 Second tuition payment due. if tuition is late, include a $5.00 late charge.
October 31 Halloween – There are NO classes. The Studios ARE closed
November 1 Third tuition payment due. if tuition is late, include a $5.00 late charge.
November 9-15 BRING TAPE MEASURE.  Parents visit for the first 15 minutes of their dancers’ classes to learn and help measure their students for costumes. Costume forms distributed.
November 22 Deadline for all costume deposits and measurement forms. If payment is made after this date, include $15.00 per costume late fee. Do not combine tuition payments & costume deposits in the same check.
November 25-29 Thanksgiving Week; the Studios ARE closed Wednesday thru Sunday.
December 1 Fourth tuition payment due. if tuition is late, include a $5.00 late charge.
December 21-January 3 Christmas Break. The Studios ARE closed. (No Classes).
January 1 Fifth tuition payment due. if tuition is late, include a $5.00 late charge.
January 4 The Studios reopen after the holidays.
January 18th (Monday) Some schools are closed but the Studios ARE open.
February 1 Sixth tuition payment due. if tuition is late, include a $5.00 late charge.
February 15-20 The Studios ARE open  for Mid-Winter break!
March 1 Seventh tuition payment due. if tuition is late, include a $5.00 late charge.

March 12		 Academy “In Concert” dress rehearsal at Lake Fenton High School at 5:30PM.
*March 6 or
March 13		 Academy “In Concert” performance at lake Fenton High School at 6:30PM.
April 1 Eighth tuition payment due. if tuition is late, include a $5.00 late charge.
April 5-10 The Studios ARE closed closed for spring break, starting Monday, April 5th. The Studios will reopen on Monday, 4/12.
May 1 Ninth tuition payment due. if tuition is late, include a $5.00 late charge.
May 14 Mandatory BareStage Rehearsal (Lesson) at Fenton Intermediate School.
May 17 HipHop Crew/TapLine Auditions at Fenton School of Dance for 2010-2011 placement.
May 31
(Monday)		 Memorial Day - Studios ARE closed.
June 1st
(Tuesday)		 Mandatory Dress Rehearsal (Final session) 4:30PM-9:30PM at Hartland Performing Arts Center.
June 3, 4, 5 & 6th Recital. Show times are Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 6:30PM and Sunday at 2:00PM at Hartland Center for the Performing Arts.
